I am saddened by the tragic loss of Alexander McQueen this week. He was a most inspired designer and major icon in the fashion industry.

New Blog!

I finally decided to split my blogs into two. Let's see if I can be up to the challenge! I will continue posting design, home decor, and stationery here on Just Another Day, while I will be moving my jewelry, fashion and tutorials to Modern Meets Whimsy. 80's licious

"The 80's called... and they want their sunglasses back" is TOTALLY something I would say to someone who would be wearing these glasses.... BUT upon further inspection.... (ahem, trying them on and oogling over how 80's licious I look) I decided to buy them! I needed some new shades for my trip I am taking... and WHO could go wrong with a pair of Betsey Johnson sunglasses for $10.00!? :)

NEW silhouette save the dates!

I have been working on some new invitation designs lately and up in the shop today are these awesome silhouette save the dates! They are customizable with YOUR silhouette! I am trying to come up with a few new designs each day though I probably won't list them all... let's be honest, not everything can make the cut! I just gotta keep my creative juices flowing.

Grammys Best Dressed

I am totally shocked to say that my favorite outfit at the grammys was on Pink! ah! crazy, yes I know- But I just LOVE the fade and the great details all over the dress.
I was a bit shocked to see her go pretty much sans clothes for her performance, though her voice (and bod) were pretty amazing! Above is the 'g rated' version!
