what to wear?

Seeing as I can't stop buying dresses (yes, I bought 3 more dresses since my last post)I thought I would create these lovely little retro ladies! I wish I owned every one of these dresses I illustrated. Maybe I should go into fashion design?!

New Design!

I just listed my newest card design in my Etsy shop! I love the whimsical look of these lovely wild flowers. They will be great for fall when you just want to pop off a cute little note to a friend. Snail mail is always a wonderful surprise!

I'm moving to Minnesota!

It is official, I have put my two weeks notice in at my job and have already started packing... I am moving to Minnesota! I am very excited to start my new job as an associate designer with a publishing company and I am even MORE excited that the new place my fiance, Matt, and I are living has a few spare rooms for me to set up an art studio!!! I am super excited to finally have an entire space dedicated to my art and now I can be more organized for Etsy as well! I have many plans for the new space so I will be posting many pictures of it all in the next few weeks!

Sad day.

Last night my mom called me to tell me that our dog Shyllo passed away. She was the most beautiful 3 lb. teacup yorkie out there. She was in our family for about 14 years so it is almost hard to remember a time without her in my life. I will always remember the tiny dog that would prance around and show off her doggie bones and cuddle with me while laying on the couch. She was a huge part of our family and will always be remembered.

60 Sales!

Over the weekend I hit 60 sales and 60 positive feedbacks in my Etsy store! I am super happy! My goal is to have 75 sales by the end of July.... so lets see if that can happen!! I hope you all had a great weekend and a terrific Monday.

Look what I got in the mail today!!

I was super excited when I recieved my package from Small Stump today! I have been coveting these cute little birch vases for some time now and I finally snatched some up! Right after work I headed to pick up some little flowers to put in them! I will probably take the other 2 (I got a package of 4) to work and make my co-workers jealous!
