Delicious Red

A red pear that is! I haven't seen a red pear before... but when I saw this one at the grocery store I was drawn to it! So I bought it and took it home to open it up and see what I thought.... Delicious! Pretty much like a regular ol' green pear but a bit sweeter and very juicy! YUM. I think I will be buying red pears from now on.

The other night my man and I were at the grocery store and we happened to walk right into the ice cream isle. Now he is definitely known for his sweet tooth so I often get caught up in eating all the fatty desserts with him- but not this night! I laid my eyes on this lush looking sorbetto and hoped it was better than some double chocolate double cookie dough chip triple nut ice cream he was buying. I got home and it was GREAT! Not only was it low in calories it was SUPER rich. Just a few spoonfuls were enough to to satisfy my sweet tooth! One little container has lasted quite a few nights for me! YUM!

Tomatoes!

The tomatoes we planted are finally turning red! A lot of the cherry tomatoes are red, super good for tossing on a salad... err that is if I ever eat one! We also have roma tomatoes and small hybred tomatoes that are just now turning orange. Pretty soon here we will be engulfed in tomatoes!!
